After the storm hit Florissant Meadows, we got the site back under control
After a major storm rolled through Florissant Meadows, we got the call early the next morning. Fence panels had blown flat, posts leaned hard in wet ground, and loose materials sat exposed near a new housing development. I remember the air still smelled like soaked lumber and torn vinyl. The crew needed the area secured before more wind, curious foot traffic, or equipment damage turned a bad mess into a safety problem for everyone on site.
We loaded the trailer with temp panels, braces, clamps, and our post driver, then moved straight to the failure points. Our crew cleared the debris, set a fresh perimeter, and tied off the weak spots so the opening stopped inviting trouble. We do this because storm work isn’t about looks first — it’s about control and safety. By the time we wrapped, the development had a solid barrier back in place, and the builder could get back to work without worrying about exposed materials.
Jamal and his crew showed up ready, locked the place down fast, and took the worry off my plate.
